22/03/18

The MIPIM, the world’s leading property market, has closed its 29th edition with more than 24.000 participants, concluding in its outlook that European investment is currently flourishing, and has the trust of investors worldwide. Furthermore, Spain acquires a leading role in the real estate scenario since it is 5th regarding volume in the real estate investment market, and 4th  in terms of investment fundraising.

Executives from different areas of Forcadell attended the international property event for the third consecutive year, to strengthen and export the Forcadell brand, establish professional links and to keep up-to-date with trends and novelties of the international markets. Since 2016, the Company and specifically its Investment Department, has been following closely the national and international markets, with its presence in the different national and European fairs (GRI, BMP, MAPIC among others) reaffirming this cycle with the 29th edition of the  MIPIM.

In MIPIM ’18 proptech and bigdata have been the key players in many conferences and conversations that have taken place at the Palais des Festivals, a fact that reveals the sector is clearly aiming towards innovation and new technologies. The new general management of Forcadell which in 2015 undertook a new path with Ivan Vaqué, engaged in a new business strategy which integrates technology in every area of activity and project of the Company.

The world’s leading property market for real estate in investment and development has gathered in Cannes the most influential international real estate players and Spain has attended with more participants than ever through two stands: Spanish Cluster and Barcelona-Catalonia. Forcadell has participated with the Catalan delegation, who for the first time had a conference of their own, Investment goes on!, and received an award by the fDi magazine from the Financial Times group, for being one of the most dynamic environments in Europe in terms of foreign investment.
